- October 2025 : Upgrade to PostgreSQL 17. Switching to ZSTD compression for weekly internal PostgreSQL database backups. These backups are the source for generating the weekly planet dumps. The full end to end process currently takes around 6 days, we expect to be able to reduce this by at least a day after switching to ZTD compression.
