Alejandro Muyshondt

All versions

Alejandro was the national security advisor to president Bukele in El Salvador.

He was a 2012 bitcoiner who understood the principles of Bitcoin and orange-pilled Bukele (according to what he told me, no way of verifying this) in 2018 when Bukele had banking problems due to breaking the power duopoly of El Salvador.

In 2018 Alejandro advised Bukele to start taking donations in Bitcoin which might have helped to make the case for an orange-future out of necessity for Bukele.

Alejandro had been very close to power for a while and had his eyes firmly on leaving working for the state. At one point he mentioned that he knew leaving the state was not going to be easy and that he would have to do a lot of politic maneuvering to extradite himself from the state apparatus.

Ultimately he was *sudden-death-syndrom*ed in February 2024, although I had heard rumors from friends/family that he had been brain-dead since September 2023.

Alejandro became a prominent figure when in 2013, as a civilian, he went out looking for thieves that had stolen cellphones, armed with an AK-47. The media would call him the "Salvadorian Robocop".
